Hey! I'm Lucy

I didn’t set out to become a life coach.

Like a lot of people, I followed the path that made sense at the time.

I built a career in commercial real estate, working at a UK real estate fund, and eventually started my own financial modelling consultancy. From the outside, it looked like things were going well. The business was generating consistent six-figure revenue, clients were coming in, and everything felt… successful.

But it didn’t feel good.

I was anxious, burnt out, and increasingly disconnected from the work I was doing. The part of my business I enjoyed the least had somehow become the core of it.

For a long time, I ignored that. I told myself this was just what work was supposed to feel like.

The turning point

At some point, I started asking a different question.

Not “how do I grow this?”

But “why am I doing this at all?”

I began to rethink what success actually meant for me - not what it looked like on paper, but how I wanted my life to feel on a day-to-day basis.

I realised I didn’t want to spend most of my time doing work I didn’t enjoy, no matter how well it paid.

So I made a change.

I restructured my business around the parts I genuinely enjoyed - working with people, teaching, and helping others develop their skills. I stepped away from the consultancy work and focused on training instead.

Today, that business generates consistent income in a fraction of the time I was previously working.

But more importantly, it feels aligned.

That experience made me realise something: a lot of capable, intelligent people are living lives they didn’t consciously choose.

They’re successful by most standards, but underneath that, they feel:

  • burnt out

  • stuck

  • slightly disconnected from their work

  • unsure what they actually want next

Not because they’ve done anything wrong. But because they’ve been living by default.

How I work

My work is about helping you step back and make more intentional decisions about your life and work.

Not by blowing everything up , but by creating clarity and making thoughtful changes over time.

I use a simple framework called DREAM to guide this process.

  • Definition: We start by defining what success actually means for you - based on your values, priorities, and the life you want to live. Not external expectations.

  • Reflection: We look honestly at where you are today. What’s working, what isn’t, and where you may be out of alignment.

  • Elevation: We make changes to your structure - your work, your time, your priorities - so they better support the life you want.

  • Action: You take clear, intentional steps forward, without overcomplicating things.

  • Momentum: We focus on consistency, review, and adjustment so that change is sustainable.

What this looks like in practice

This might involve:

  • rethinking your career or business direction

  • changing how you spend your time

  • setting better boundaries

  • making more intentional decisions about money and work

  • simplifying what you’re doing so it actually works for you

The goal is to create something that feels aligned with who you are now - not who you thought you had to be.

A different way of thinking about success

I don’t believe success is about constantly doing more, earning more, or scaling for the sake of it. I think it’s about understanding what is enough for you and then building your life around that.

If you’ve found your way here, there’s a good chance something isn’t quite working the way it used to. You might not have the answers yet. But you’re starting to ask better questions. And that’s where this work begins.

Get on the List

I write for people who feel stuck, burnt out, or unfulfilled about building work and lives that align with their values, strengths and desired future - with lived experience and honest opinions.

The aim? To help you stop living by default and start living deliberately.
